Come and celebrate with us!
On Saturday 29 July, there will be a special Open Day to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the restoration and opening to the public of The Weaver’s House and garden.
Enjoy a tour and find out all about the house including its Tudor history and how it was rescued, from certain destruction, by a dedicated group of local people. Try your hand at weaving and add to our anniversary weaving project being created by traditional methods. Experience how medieval weavers lived and see demonstrations by weavers and spinners as well as the full size replica loom (accessed via ladder).
There will also be special guided walks*, traditional games and birthday cake alongside all the usual tours and activities.
The Open Day starts at 11am and runs until 4pm. Say you’ll be there!
* Please note these are now fully booked
