A fantastic Heritage Open Days weekend

Heritage Open Days are always busy for us and despite some dismal weather on the Saturday morning, we had a steady stream of people coming to look around. It got busier as the day rolled on and the weather brightened and in all we had 170 visitors.

Sunday was a better day weather-wise and there were visitors arriving bang on the dot of 10 o’ clock ready to look around.

Soon after – a full house for a tour.

Altogether we had close to 400 visitors across the weekend. There was a real buzz about so many venues being open with many visitors clutching Heritage Open Days brochures and on a mission to make the most of it!

Our Open Days start again in the spring, but group tours are bookable year-round as long as we have guides available. If you are interested find out more here.
